QLAN ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors to qlan.com and from clients of our managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and compliance services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in the following categories:

  • Contact information you submit through forms (name, email, phone, company, message).
  • Usage data such as pages viewed, referring URL, browser, device, and approximate location, collected via standard server logs and analytics.
  • Cookies used to remember preferences, measure site performance, and support advertising. Advertising cookies are set by Google when you arrive from one of our ads, and let us measure which ads led to an inquiry. You can disable cookies in your browser.
  • Client environment data required to deliver services under a signed Master Services Agreement.

2. How we use information

  • To respond to inquiries and provide requested information.
  • To deliver, monitor, and improve our services.
  • To send service-related communications (we do not sell your data).
  • To comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information. We share information with vetted subprocessors necessary to operate the site and deliver our services (e.g., email delivery, analytics, advertising, ticketing, backup providers), and where required by law.

We use Google Ads to measure the performance of our advertising. Under the CCPA/CPRA this counts as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though no money changes hands and we receive no payment for it. What is shared is limited to online identifiers and your activity on qlan.com. It does not include the contact details you submit through a form, or any client environment data covered by a Master Services Agreement. See section 5 for how to opt out.

4. Data retention

We retain inquiry data for up to 24 months and client environment data for the duration of the engagement plus any retention period required by contract or law.

5. Your rights

California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to access, delete, or correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. We do share it for advertising as described in section 3, and you can opt out of that sharing in either of these ways:

  • Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser or a browser extension. We honor it automatically. When GPC is present, this site loads no analytics or advertising tags at all, so nothing is shared and no further action is needed.
  • Email us at info@qlan.com and we will process the opt out for you.

Use the same address to exercise your access, deletion, or correction rights.

6. Security

We follow industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including encryption in transit and at rest, MFA-protected access, and least-privilege controls.

7. Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
